LIGHT UP MY LIFE (Like You Do The Christmas Tree)
Won’t you light up my life
Like you do the Christmas tree
Light up my life
And spend a little time with me
You’re like that Christmas angel
You’re as pretty as can be
Won’t you light up my life
And spend a little time with me
Won’t you light up my life
Like you do the Christmas tree
Light up my life
And spend a little time with me
The kids are all gone to bed
The presents are under the tree
So won’t you light up my life
And spend a little time with me
The snow’s not snowing
The wind’s not blowing
No chestnuts on the fire
Santa’s sleigh is far away
And it’s my heart’s desire
That you light up my life
Like you do the Christmas tree
Light up my life
And spend a little time with me
In this busy season
We’ve both had lots to do
But I’m never too busy
To spend some time with you
Cause you’re my Christmas present
Every day of the year
In fact it wouldn’t be Christmas at all
If you were not here
To light up my life
Like you do the Christmas tree
So light up my life
And spend a little time with me
You’re like that Christmas angel
You’re as pretty as can be
Won’t you light up my life
And spend a little time with me
Yeah, honey light up my life And spend a little time with me

MR. LONESOME
They called me Mr. Lonesome
That was my claim to fame
And everywhere that I went
That was my middle name
They all thought I’d never find
The one who’d make me change
And then one day you walked in
And love walked in with you
Love walked in with you
When you walked into my life
Love walked in with you
Now my future’s looking bright
I was just sitting there lonesome
And blue till you walked into my life
And love walked in with you
Love walked in with you
When you walked into my life
Love walked in with you
Now my future’s looking bright
I could have searched the whole world through
But I didn’t have a clue
Till you walked into my life
And love walked in with you
Love walked in with you
When you walked into my life
Love walked in with you
Now my future’s looking bright
And now I’m not Mr.Lonesome anymore
Because when love walked in with you
Lonesome went out the door
When love walked in with you
Lonesome went out the door

LONELY LADY
She was sitting in that back booth
Back by the telephone
When I went by her table
I could see she was alone
She was wearing lots of make-up
And she smiled as I went by
But I knew that she was waiting
For a very special guy
She was just a lonely lady
Trying to make it through the night
Thinking of the years she’s wasted
Watching life go by
Waiting for a phone call
From the other side of town
Hoping that he’d say he loved her
And would soon be coming down
But the hours kept on passing
And the night would soon be gone
And then that lonely lady
Would be going home alone
Well if you’re like that lonely lady
Thinking life has passed you by
Remember lonely ladies
There are lots of lonely guys
Yeah remember lonely ladies
There are lots of lonely guys
